On Friday, November 4th, long time WCL IP leader and Co-Founder of PIJIP, Professor Peter Jaszi, will be speaking at the 2016 MCN Annual Conference. The panel, which takes place at 10:15am, is titled, “So, can I use that or not? Navigating rights, reproductions, and risk in an OpenGLAM world.”
The panel will discuss access to open culture and digital cultural heritage, and how users access and reuse digital content. The session begins with an introduction to the research-led exhibition experiment, Display At Your Own Risk (DAYOR), which explores the reuse of digital surrogates of public domain works of art produced by cultural heritage institutions of international repute.
