Please RSVP here and note in the “comments” field if you are requesting to participate in the roundtable or attend as an observer.

On Sep. 14, we will be hosting a roundtable discussion on patent pledges: public commitments made by patent holders not to assert their patents to the fullest degree (background).

This event will feature a range of discussants who will share their experiences regarding the use of patent pledges to advance green technologies, software development, and electronic commerce and to reduce the threat of patent litigation by non-practicing entities.

The roundtable coincides with the release of the book that emerged from our 2015 Patent Pledges conference (book details). Anyone with an interest in private ordering arrangements for patents is welcome to participate or to attend as an observer.

Refreshments and event logistics have been supported by a generous grant from Google.
